Professor Michelle Butler is Executive Dean of the Faculty of Science and Health at Dublin City University. She has extensive research, teaching, assessment, and curriculum development experience and previously held academic leadership positions at the University of British Columbia and University College Dublin. Her background is in nursing and midwifery, and she has conducted research studies in nursing, midwifery, and health services management, in Canada, the UK and Ireland.

Patrick Redmond

Professor Patrick Redmond is a GP and Associate Professor in General Practice at RCSI. He has previously held clinical academic roles in Ireland, Australia, and the UK, having obtained his PhD through the Health Research Board PhD Scholars Programme. Patrick's research focuses on enhancing patients' cancer journey from diagnosis to survivorship, with a view to improving outcomes and reducing healthcare costs.

Loretto Callaghan

Loretto Callaghan is an experienced non-executive director with country leadership, executive leadership, and board directorship experience in the Biopharmaceutical / Healthcare sector. In her most recent role, she was CEO and Country President of Novartis in Ireland where she led a series of organisational restructures, and culture and business model transformations. She also served as Chair and executive director of the Irish Subsidiary board of Novartis AG, was a board member of the Irish Pharmaceutical Healthcare Association (IPHA) and Chair of the IPHA Brexit Group. 

Pauline Philip, Chair, Beaumont Hospital Board

Originally from Dublin & now dividing her time between London & Ireland, Pauline Philip is the National Director for Emergency and Elective Care in the NHS (England). With a nursing & science background, Pauline has held a number of CEO positions across all healthcare sectors and other senior positions in the Department of Health. She was the Director of Patient Safety in WHO from 2002 to 2010 and is presently the Chair of Lifebox, an international charity focused on safe surgery.

Tracy Swanton’s professional career spans over 30 years of working in the health sector both public and private sector in UK and Ireland. Having  qualified as an Occupational Therapist in Newcastle Upon Tyne, she  spent her formative career in the Freeman Hospital group before returning to Ireland to work in the National Rehabilitation Hospital and then Beaumont Hospital from 1998 to 2001. Claire Noonan, Chief Operations Officer

Claire joined Beaumont Hospital in 2018, having trained and worked as a nurse and Clinical Nurse Manager at St. James’s Hospital, Dublin, since 1997. She initially joined the nursing team at Beaumont and progressed to Deputy Director of Nursing before taking the lead in developing the Cancer Directorate and the Beaumont RCSI Cancer Centre as Operations and Accreditation Lead. The Cancer Centre was successful accredited by the Organisation of European Cancer Institutes (OECI) in 2022.

Anne Coyle is Chief Executive of Beaumont Hospital and commenced on 26th August 2024, bringing a wealth of experience from a distinguished career in healthcare leadership.  Anne began her career as a Physiotherapist, which provided a strong foundation for understanding the needs of patients and healthcare providers alike.
