Work stoppages are planned across the health service on Wednesday, 14 October which will impact Beaumont Hospital. All non-urgent appointments and services will be cancelled if the work stoppage goes ahead and patients will be contacted.
Mark has over 30 years of experience in financial services working in the auditing, banking, leasing and asset finance areas and holding CEO, CFO and Board positions in a number of companies. He started his career as an engineer in the Oil and Gas sector, and later qualified as a chartered accountant working within the audit department with PwC. Mark was Managing Director of DZ Bank Ireland plc for 17 years, a banking subsidiary of the German DZ Bank Group, operating within Capital Markets, having also served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Risk Officer of the company.
Mark currently acts as a non-executive director for a number of Irish companies in the financial sector including Wells Fargo Bank International UC, where he is chair of the Board Risk Committee and a member of the Board Audit Committee, in addition to holding Board positions in the asset finance sector. Mark is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland and has completed the diploma in company direction through the Institute of Directors.
