While we generally ask that patients arrive alone for their appointments we understand that some patients will need help – so if this applies to you then yes of course you can bring someone with you.  You can also ask that our companion comes into the appointment with you so you understand everything you are being told.  They may be asked to wait outside if the doctor wants to examine you.

Yes, if English is not your first language we can arrange an Interpreter/Translator to go to your appointment with you.  To arrange this you must contact the Clinic Secretary at least a week before your appointment date so arrangements can be made.  Check the letter you received confirming your appointment for the contact details

You can contact the clinic secretary directly to reschedule your appointment to another date. Check the letter you received confirming your appointment for the contact details you need. The clinic secretary contact details are also available on the consultant section of the website under the name of your consultant.

If your GP specifies a Consultant then we will try to make sure that you see that doctor. Sometimes a GP will refer to a specialty or a service (Orthopaedics for instance). In that case your referral will be reviewed by the Medical Team and you will be placed on the waiting list for a Consultant with sub-specialist expertise in the area specific to your needs (for example, knee surgery is a sub-specialty of orthopaedics)
