Sometimes a GP will refer to a specialty or a service (Orthopaedics for instance). In that case your referral will be reviewed by the Medical Team and you will be placed on the waiting list for a Consultant with sub-specialist expertise in the area specific to your needs (for example, knee surgery is a sub-specialty of orthopaedics)

We have a lovely Chapel which is open 24 hours for quiet reflection. Mass is celebrated from Monday to Friday at 1pm, on Saturday at 7pm and Sunday at 1pm. Please let the ward staff know if you are leaving the ward

Private rooms are kept for the sickest patients, for patients with immune disorders, or in circumstances of infection control.
