There is a CCTV System in operation throughout the hospital site both internally and externally as well as an Access Control System.

The chaplaincy department operates on an interdenominational basis and is staffed accordingly. The department provides an invaluable multi-denominational pastoral service to our patients, relatives and staff. Our Chaplains care for the spiritual needs of patients, families and staff. We have a number of chaplains and can also contact leaders of a number of faiths if requested. We have a lovely peaceful Chapel where Mass and Holy Communion are offered, and a Mosque for the use of staff and students.

We can also provide limited in- home or in-hospital monitoring to screen and follow up on sleep and ventilation disorders.

Under this programme, the Beaumont Centre tests for AATD, people with COPD, poorly responsive asthma, liver disease of unknown aetiology, panniculitis, vasculitis, bronchiectasis and people who are first degree relatives of those with AATD. To date over 25,000 people have been tested. Over one third have been found to have AATD.
