From Tuesday 1st Sept inpatient, day case and outpatient waiting lists for Beaumont Hospital will now be displayed to HSE Health App users. This is the first release for Beaumont Hospital into the App. This builds on the success of previous releases of the HSE Health App, where waiting lists have been made visible for approximately 60 acute and community sites.
The waiting lists that are displayed in the app come from the HSE's national Patient Administration System, known as iPMS. Whilst all Beaumont Hospital waiting lists from iPMS display in the app, work is ongoing to make appointments available to users in the future.
Users can view information such as the waiting list name, hospital, and date that they were added to the list. However, no estimated timelines are displayed on the App.
Additional Features in the HSE Health AppOther features currently in the app are GP referrals, digital health cards, patient records such as HIPE procedures and discharge summaries, and care support programmes such as 'QUIT' Smoking and 'Get Active'.
