The 13th Annual Quality and Patient Safety Meeting took place on Wednesday 12th November.  This year the theme of the meeting was "Empowering Excellence through Effective Communication".  This annual meeting is an opportunity for staff to chat, to mingle, to listen to and see what others are doing to improve the work we do every day and the care we deliver to patients. This learning can be brought back to respective areas and prompt motivation for change and improvement.

The standard of work presented was of a very high quality with initiatives striving to improve the care we provide to our patients coming through strongly in the presentations.  In total there were 103 posters displayed and 8 podium presentations from across all aspects of the patients' journey.
