Ms. Anél Naudé

Ms.  Naudé is a Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat surgeon with subspeciality interest in Otology, jointly appointed in 2021 between the Hospitals of Beaumont and Our Lady and Lourdes Drogheda.

Ms. Naudé graduated in 2003 from the University of the Free State Medical School in Bloemfontein, South Africa and started her Ear Nose and Throat clinical training in Ireland in 2007 after 4 years of clinical work in both South Africa and Bermuda. She completed the Irish Otolaryngology Higher Speciality Training Program in 2018 and was appointed Otolaryngology lecturer for the RCSI and Beaumont Hospital in 2019. During 2019/2020 she completed her fellowship training in Otology and Implant Otology at Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham, United Kingdom.

Since her appointment as Consultant in 2021 she has focused on expanding the Otolaryngology services in Our Lady of Lourdes, Drogheda by creating specialised Otology (Ear) clinics & Operating procedures, Audiology services and Vestibular/Balance pathways.

Ms Naudé finds helping patients with their hearing or ear disease and even wax related issues very satisfying and enjoys the problem-solving required in diagnosing vertigo and balance disorders.
