Biography

Mr. Sami Khan graduated from Khyber Medical College Peshawar, Pakistan in 2008.

  • FCPS (Trauma & Orthopaedics) Fellow College of Physicians & Surgeons of Pakistan - 2014.
  • FEBOT (Fellow European Board of Orthopaedics & Traumatology) -2018
  • FRCS (Tr & Orth ) -2019.

Scope of practice

Adult trauma & Orthopaedics with a specialist interest in:

  • Shoulder & Elbow Sports Surgery:  Management of shoulder instability , rotator cuff tear, and elbow instability.
  • Shoulder & Elbow Arthroplasty: Shoulder and elbow replacement for arthritis and trauma.
  • Upper Limb Trauma: Complex upper limb trauma including shoulder , elbow and wrist.

Qualifications

FRCS (Tr & Orth),  FEBOT,  FCPS,  MBBS

Research & Scientific Contributions

Mr. Sami Khan has multiple publications mostly on shoulder sports related injuries. He has presented his research work both nationally and internationally.  He has been a keynote speaker in international conferences on shoulder arthroplasty
