Professor Cedric Gunaratnam

Professor Cedric Gunaratnam is a Consultant Respiratory Physician in Beaumont Hospital, Dublin 9. He is the joint consultant lead for the adult Cystic Fibrosis service in Beaumont hospital. He is also an Honorary Clinical Associate Professor with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI). He is currently the vice chairperson of the Cystic Fibrosis Registry of Ireland. His areas of research interest include: gender outcome disparity in CF, clinical outcome prediction models in CF, and fungal lung disease in CF. His other areas of clinical interest and expertise are in Non CF Bronchiectasis, Alpha-1 Antitrypsin deficiency, and Genetic rare lung diseases.
