Dr. Fiona Toal

Dr Fiona Toal graduated from Trinity College, Dublin before completing higher psychiatric training in Dublin and the Institute of Psychiatry, London. She completed a PhD in neuro-imaging and was appointed Senior Lecturer to Monash University Melbourne. She worked as Senior Consultant Psychiatrist in the Victorian Institute of Forensic Mental Health and was appointed as Consultant Co-Lead to Victorian Police Counter Terrorism Command. She has extensive experience in diagnosis and management of patients with complex psychiatric presentations. She currently delivers consultant input to General Liaison Psychiatry, Neuropsychiatry and Covid Psychiatry services in Beaumont with a special interest improving access to mental health services for those with treatment refractory Epilepsy.
