Beaumont Hospital’s Information & Communications Technology Department (ICT) has been recognised with the prestigious Imprivata Clinical Impact Award for its successful implementation of Single Sign-On (SSO) technology across its health system. This award recognises healthcare organisation’s commitment to innovation, security, and improving the patient experience.

Beaumont Hospital is pleased to announce the successful launch of Project Coral (iPM and Orbis systems), which went live over the weekend of September 13th. The project represents one of the most significant system upgrades in the hospital’s history, and was designed to modernise operations, enhance patient care and strengthen future readiness. The project launch marks the culmination of a three-year transformation program, replacing a 35-year-old legacy system. The support for the new systems is evidenced by the more than 3,000 staff who were trained in preparation for the transition.

On Thurs 29 May, Minister Jack Chambers, the Minister of Public Expenditure, National Development Plan Delivery and Reform, officially launched the Government's review of the National Development Plan from Beaumont Hospital. The event took place at the brand new Cystic Fibrosis unit in Beaumont Hospital, a fitting location given the importance of the CF Unit to our healthcare system.

Cancer experts gathered for the 2025 Beaumont RCSI Cancer Centre Conference to examine themes of healthcare outcomes, and equity and access in cancer diagnostics and cancer research. Jointly hosted by RCSI and Beaumont Hospital, this annual conference highlights leading-edge approaches to cancer diagnosis and treatment, while reinforcing the critical importance of equitable access to care across all populations.
