Hepatology

The Hepatology Unit provides care for patients with all forms of liver disease; it is the first multidisciplinary Liver Support Clinic in Ireland focussing on patients with decompensated advanced chronic liver disease and primary liver cancer.

Referrals

A Hospital Consultant or GP may refer a patient to the service. To arrange a routine appointment please  email a referral letter to:
hepatologyadmin@beaumont.ie  Alternatively you can post the referral to Prof. John Ryan, Consultant Hepatologist, Beaumont Hospital, Dublin 9.

Clinic Schedule

Consultant-Led Liver Support Clinic (cirrhosis/liver cancer)
Consultant-Led Hepatitis B & C
This clinic is held each Tuesday from 09:00 to 12:30 

Consultant and ANP General Hepatology clinic
This clinic is held each Thursday from 08:30 to 12:30

Consultant-Led Hepatitis C clinic (HAA card holder)
This clinic is held monthly on Thursdays from 12.00 to 15:00

 

Nurse-Led Clinics

Hepatitis C Treatment - Monday & Wed from 09:00 to 12:30
Fibroscan Clinic - Tuesday & Thursday from 09:00 to 12:30
Venesection Clinic - Monday to Friday (mornings only in St Joseph's Hospital, Raheny).  All appointments for the Venesection clinic must be booked via SwiftQueue
