Please be advised that measures have been put in place for the safety of patients attending for an outpatient appointment. The entrance point is now at the tented area to the left of the main entrance.

Hospital Staff will be on hand to guide and help you and it is important that you follow their instructions.

  • Please do not attend the hospital any more than 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.

  • Please attend on your own where possible.

These measures are to ensure safe physical distancing and to avoid over-crowding. Children are not permitted to attend. 


Please do not attend for your appointment if:

  • You have been tested for COVID19 and are awaiting a result
  • You have any symptoms of COVID19. Please see HERE for further information
  • You are a close contact of a person who has a Diagnosis of COVID19 within the last 14 days See HERE for more information

Please telephone the number on your appointment letter and a new appointment will be arranged for you.

What can I expect when I come for my outpatient appointment?

  • If you are attending the outpatients department - Clinics A, B, C, D, E,or F we ask that you check in through the tented area to the left hand side of the main entrance to the Hospital
  • When you enter the hospital, staff will check your temperature and provide you with a facemask to wear
  • You will be directed to the appropriate outpatient waiting area in Clinic A,B,C,D,E,or F; you may be asked to follow floor markings which will guide you
  • We request that you maintain social distancing at all times, practice good cough and sneeze etiquette and use the hand sanitisers provided

What do I need to bring with me?

  • Your appointment letter
  • A list of your current medications.
