Hygiene and General Services Administration
Services
The General Services office is staffed by three administrative staff, which includes a Staff Officer. We provide the following services:
- Management of the Hospital’s general fax machine, photocopying, laminating / binding service, answer general hospital queries, management of TV’s hospital wide and the management of postal costs.
- Management of operational issues regarding non-clinical services
- Administrative support services throughout the department including Pharmacy / Medical Physics administrative support.
- Management of operational and administrative support services in Admissions, Medical Records, Emergency, and Out of Hours service.
- Management of Household Services in a number of areas including the Board room/Committee room, Consultants Committee, etc.
A mobile hairdressing and barber service is also operated by the department. A new staff change facility opened in February 2007 and the General Services Office is responsible for managing this facility and allocating of lockers to staff.
Hours
The office is open Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 1.00pm and 2.00pm to 5.00pm (excluding bank holidays).
