Catering Department

About us

The Catering Department caters for patients and Hospital staff seven days a week, 365 days a year. The department also caters for Hospital functions.

Awards

The staff restaurant proudly boasts THE HAPPY HEART AT WORK AWARD. This is a prestigious award which is awarded by the Irish Heart Foundation to catering establishments which meet their guidelines for healthy eating.  Very few hospitals have attained this award.

Staff

The Catering Department consists of a Head of Catering, Catering Officers,
Catering Supervisors, an Executive Head Chef, Senior Chefs, Chefs, Catering Assistants, and Clerical Staff.

Hours

Staff restaurant hours:

• 7.30am-11.00am: Breakfast
• 12.00pm-2.30pm: Lunch
• 4.30pm-6.30pm: Tea
