Congratulations to Prof Mary Cannon (RCSI and Beaumont Consultant Psychiatrist) who has been appointed to a new taskforce on youth mental health, announced recently by Minister of State for Mental Health and Older People, Helen McEntee.
The group is made up of representatives of youth groups and health experts and will consider how best to introduce and teach resilience, coping mechanisms, greater awareness to children and young people, and how to access support services voluntarily at a young age.
