The Major Incident Planning Team in Beaumont Hospital ran a mass casualty Simulation Exercise on March 28 last. The exercise simulated a major transport incident with over 100 'casualties' presenting to Beaumont Hospital. The simulation tests the hospitals preparedness should this type of incident occur. Many thanks to all Beaumont Hospital staff, guests from An Garda Siochana, National Ambulance Service and our Connolly Hospital colleagues who attended and contributed to the success of this simulation.
