Support Services
The Patient Representative, as part of the Integrated Quality and Safety Division, helps you resolve difficulties you may experience with the hospital's services.
Patient Forum
Beaumont Hospital invites our patients and members of the community to join our Patient Forum Group, which helps to involve our patients/service users in the planning and development of services provided to them by the hospital. The Patient Forum is co-ordinated by the Patient Representative Manager. If you are interested in participating, please contact our office.
Interpreter
If you need an Interpreter when attending the hospital, please advise a staff member or contact the Patient Representative office.
Complaints
If you have concerns about any aspect of your care or our services, please speak with a member of staff in the department or ward and they will attempt to resolve things for you as quickly as possible.
If you wish to make a formal complaint or if the staff member cannot resolve your issue, please contact a Patient Representative staff member. The Patient Representative may be able to help to resolve your issues of concern. The staff will be happy to discuss your concerns with you and talk you through the investigation process of our Complaints Policy. The Patient Representative will manage the investigation of your complaint and every effort will be made to resolve your complaint as speedily as possible. Every complaint will be taken seriously and will not affect your care or treatment at Beaumont Hospital.
Generally we will only investigate a complaint that is made within a period of 12 months of the events that caused concern.
If complaining on behalf of someone else, you may need to obtain their written consent before we can give any information on their clinical care or treatment as this information is confidential to the patient.
