Learning & Development

About Us

The Learning & Development function, in conjunction with the Hospital's Executive Management Team and Line Managers, supports the promotion of life-long learning. All staff are provided with the opportunity for education, training and development activities to enable them in their roles providing the highest standards of excellence in the provision of patient care.

Learning & Development is strategically linked to the Organisational Development Department and is located in the Centre of Education.

MSc in Organisational Change and Leadership Development

In May 2010, Beaumont Hospital, in partnership with DCU Business School and the Institute ofMasters Programme Flyer Leadership and Healthcare Management in the RSCI, launched an innovative MSc in Organisational Change & Leadership Development Programme. The objectives of the programme are to develop Leaders and Managers who will play a key role in leading and enabling change that contributes to performance and service improvement for patients who rely on our care.

Among the unique features of this programme is its focus on addressing current Hospital/Healthcare priorities in the form of live action research/change projects underpinned by best in class leadership & change management development skills.
