Kidney transplant recipients – would you like to enhance your life even further after receiving the ultimate gift? Learn how you can do so at an event next month.
You are invited to a one-day event being held on Saturday March 9 in the Sheraton Athlone Hotel .
You and family members will be interested in talks on enhancing the well-being and self-management of kidney transplant recipients.
Talks will focus on tips regarding medication, healthy diet, skin-care, physical fitness, emotional well-being, stress management, and how to acknowledge donors.
Speakers include experts in the above areas including a Consultant a Nephrologist, Senior Pharmacist in Renal Transplant, Transplant Coordinator, Irish Kidney Association, experts in physical fitness and Health Promotion and Stress Management, among other speakers.
The event is free of charge and parking costs are also covered. And there is a free lunch!
All transplant recipients are invited – it does not matter how long since your transplantation. And you may bring one family member or friend.
The event, organised by Beaumont Hospital, Beaumont, Dublin 9 , starts at 9.30am with registration and welcome and finishes with a closing address at 3.30pm.
